How garage sales used to find you
HOAs and cities run multi-home sales on spreadsheets and PDFs. Yard signs blow off telephone poles. Facebook posts disappear under cat photos. There's a better way — for organizers and shoppers both.

Why we built this
Our town's city-wide garage sale was run from a spreadsheet, a paper flyer, and a PDF — and the organizer was drowning.
Every spring our town runs a city-wide garage sale with hundreds of participating houses. The committee chasing all those signups had a Google Sheet, a Facebook group thread, and a stack of paper forms collected at the rec center. The day-of, residents got a PDF — a long list of addresses with no map, no filters, no descriptions, no photos. The organizer was on the phone all weekend rerouting people, retyping addresses, and emailing weather updates one at a time.
On the shopper side it wasn't much better. We drove in circles, backtracked across town, and missed sales we would have stopped at if we'd known what was inside the garage. The whole weekend felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues.
City Wide Finds is built to fix all of that — for the organizer first. Organizers share a single signup link and participants add their own address, photos, hours, and item categories in about two minutes. Every participating driveway plots on the same map automatically. Announcements go out from one dashboard. Shoppers — the people you're trying to bring to your community in the first place — show up with a route already planned. No spreadsheet. No PDF. No driving around lost.
One signup link
Organizers stop chasing residents through spreadsheets and Facebook DMs. Share a link, participants fill it in themselves.
Photos & categories
Participants upload pictures of what they're selling and tag the items by category. Shoppers know what's in a garage before they drive there.
Mapped & routed
Every address plots automatically. Save the ones you want, build an optimized route, and open it in Google Maps with one tap.
Built for the volunteer committee that ran our town's sale. Now it's free for yours, too.

Common questions
Things people ask before signing up
Can I run a city-wide or HOA sale on this?
Yes — that's the main thing it's built for. Create an organization, set up an event, and share one signup link with residents. Every participating driveway plots on the same map, and you can email all your participants from one dashboard.
Is it really free for our HOA, city, or church?
Yes. Creating an organization, hosting unlimited sale events, collecting participant signups, publishing a shopper map, and sending email announcements are all free. No per-participant fees, no setup charges.
How do you have so many sales already on the map?
Two ways. We partner with HOAs, cities, and community groups running multi-home events — every participating driveway shows up automatically once they sign up. And individual hosts can post their own driveway sale directly.
Can I list my sale even if my city isn't on the platform yet?
Yes. Post a sale for any address in the United States. Your listing helps build the map for your neighborhood, and shoppers search by ZIP and radius rather than city, so you'll be found regardless.
Will my sale show up on Google?
Yes. Every active listing has its own indexed page with location, dates, and categories. Sales near major roads or in a community event tend to rank within a day or two.
What about my privacy?
We show the address publicly because that's the point of a garage sale — but we never share your phone number or email unless you choose to add it. You can also list a starting cross-street instead of an exact address until the morning of.
Can I plan a route to multiple sales?
Yes. Save the sales you want to hit, pick a starting address, and the planner builds an optimized driving route that opens directly in Google Maps on your phone.
