Why we built this
Our town's city-wide garage sale handed out a PDF and a flyer — and we still missed half the sales.
Every spring our town runs a city-wide garage sale with hundreds of participating houses. The only thing the organizer hands out is a PDF and a paper flyer — a long list of addresses with no map, no filters, no descriptions, no photos. There was no way to see who had baby clothes versus power tools versus vintage furniture. There was no way to plan a route. Half the addresses we couldn't even find on a phone.
So we drove in circles. We backtracked across town. We missed sales we would have stopped at if we'd known what was inside the garage. The whole weekend felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues.
City Wide Finds is built to fix all of that — for the organizer and the shopper. Organizers share a single signup link, and participants add their own address, photos, hours, and item categories in about two minutes. Every participating driveway plots on the same map automatically. Shoppers filter by what they're actually hunting for, save the ones they want to hit, and head out with an optimized driving route. No PDF. No flyer. No driving around lost.
One signup link
Organizers stop chasing residents through spreadsheets and Facebook DMs. Share a link, participants fill it in themselves.
Photos & categories
Participants upload pictures of what they're selling and tag the items by category. Shoppers know what's in a garage before they drive there.
Mapped & routed
Every address plots automatically. Save the ones you want, build an optimized route, and open it in Google Maps with one tap.
Built for our town first. Now it's free for yours, too.

How garage sales used to find you
Yard signs blow off telephone poles. Facebook posts disappear under cat photos. Google My Maps requires a bookmark and a prayer. There's a better way.

Common questions
Things people ask before signing up
How do you have so many sales already on the map?
Two ways. Hosts post their own sale directly. And we partner with HOAs, cities, and community groups running multi-home events — every participating driveway shows up automatically once they sign up.
Can I list my sale even if my city isn't on the platform yet?
Yes. Post a sale for any address in the United States. Your listing helps build the map for your neighborhood, and shoppers search by ZIP and radius rather than city, so you'll be found regardless.
Will my sale show up on Google?
Yes. Every active listing has its own indexed page with location, dates, and categories. Sales near major roads or in a community event tend to rank within a day or two.
What about my privacy?
We show the address publicly because that's the point of a garage sale — but we never share your phone number or email unless you choose to add it. You can also list a starting cross-street instead of an exact address until the morning of.
Can I plan a route to multiple sales?
Yes. Save the sales you want to hit, pick a starting address, and the planner builds an optimized driving route that opens directly in Google Maps on your phone.
